Our Services
A happy little home-away-from-home for your pup! Dogs spend the day in my apartment with lots of play, naps, cuddles, and supervision. Part of our time together will be spent at one of the nearby dog parks (<5 minute walk) where we will get all our zoomies out! Perfect for busy days when your dog just wants company, routine, and love instead of being alone.
A cozy overnight stay with plenty of play, fresh air, and love. Your pup will enjoy park time, adventures (and occasional hikes if allowed), and lots of snuggles back at home. They’ll always be watched by me or my partner and can even make a new furry friend with our friendly pup. The perfect stay-cation for dogs who wouldn’t mind making a new pup friend!
Safety First (soft & friendly):
All outings are leash-only and permission-based. Dogs are always supervised and matched for safe, happy play.
Care right in your pup’s own home, just the way you like it. I follow your house rules, routines, and preferences closely — every family and every home is respected. Visits include feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love so your dog feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.
Availability Note (gentle & honest):
In-home dog sitting availability is limited due to my full-time position, so spots may be limited and are best booked in advance.

Doggy Pick-Up & Drop-Off
I offer doggy pick-up and or drop-off for clients up to 100 miles from Concord, NC.

Doggy Wash
I can give your dog a nice bath before bringing them back home. (I am unable to do grooming services such as nail cutting.)

When the weather permits, I offer hikes with your pup when requested.

Why Choose Me?
Hi, I’m Alex — the heart behind Smiley Wags & All. I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 7 years old, and caring for them has always felt like second nature. I currently share my home with my own pup, Puebla, who loves having new friends to play and relax with.
By day, I work in the afternoons as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting children on the autism spectrum, which has shaped how I approach care — with patience, attentiveness, and respect for individual needs. I’m also pursuing my B.A. in Psychology and saving toward my master’s program, and dog care lets me do both while spending time doing something I genuinely love.
Smiley Wags & All is built on trust, supervision, and treating every dog like family — because that’s exactly how I’d want my own pup cared for.

My personal pawsistant who handles all the dog-play needs! She is social, loves being playful, and loves nap time even more. She is excited to meet some new friends and show her new dog friends around.
